Phase-sensitive d-wave experimentThe research group of Professor Dale Van Harlingen is dedicated to the study of superconductivity and superconductor-device physics. Currently we have research efforts centering on the determination of the pairing symmetry in several unconventional superconductors, the fabrication of Josephson pi-junctions for the design of solid-state qubits, and the characterization of nanoscale superconducting structures. Our group has exclusive access to thin-film deposition and low temperature cryogenic facilities including a dilution refrigerator. As part of the Materials Research Laboratory we also have access to a wide array of microanalysis and microfabrication facilities. These facilities afford us the opportunity to study a broad range of interests through varied experimental techniques. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Enjoy your visit.
